Lily (Loren Horsley) is a shy and unpopular cashier in a fast-food restaurant who cultivates a crush on Jarrod (Jemaine Clement), an eccentric geek who works in a video game store. Jarrod eats in the fast-food place every day, but always chooses to wait for attractive cashier Jenny (Chelsea Preston-Crayford) to take his order. The fix is in for Lily when the fast food place rigs a drawing to decide on whom to downsize. While finishing out her week, she intercepts an invitation for Jenny to a party Jarrod is throwing. Jenny throws out the invitation, but Lily retrieves it, also finding out that the slips of paper from the downsizing drawing all had her name on them, ensuring that she would be the one fired. Lily’s attendance at the party begins an awkward relationship with Jarrod, who eventually calls on her to help him with a revenge plot he’s hatched on some bullies from his past.
